02 Apr Make your home a novel retreat, Ernest Hemingway style.
Ernest Hemingway called a few places ‘home.’ On a recent trip to Cuba, I got to experience first-hand Hemingway’s plantation house, otherwise known as Finca Vigia (lookout farm), and bask in his ability to eloquently surround himself with collections reflecting a life well-lived.
I’m always encouraging my clientele to showcase their collections, don’t box them away. Let’s use those collections as base-art, or a starting point. It is often overlooked how provocative a simple assemblage can be to one’s home.
